He’s 6-foot-2 and a cornerback. Long and lean and athletic, Miles Brooks has a ton of choices already when it comes to big time college football programs and scholarship offers and the gators have let him know they want him too.

Trinity Christian in Jacksonville had their spring game Tuesday night and we Swamp247 was there beforehand. Brooks will play a vital role on the TC football squad in 2018 and he’s been working his craft over the spring ad getting a lot of attention.

“I’ve been preparing for the last couple of weeks and it’s time to play,” he said excited about the game on hand.  Spring’s gone pretty good. I’ve received a couple of offers in the last couple of weeks… Alabama, Duke, Kentucky, and I just received Purdue today.”

Brooks says the recruiting part of it has been a little bit on the back burner. He certainly has time to figure things out before he needs to make a decision on a college choice.

“I haven’t put too much time into that because I’m just a sophomore going into my junior year,” he said. “So I have just been working on my craft and staying in my books.”

The Florida Gators have been on Brooks and he has an offer as well. Assistant Coach Charlton Warren is on hi and has let him know exactly what he thinks of the young man.

“They compare me to some of the corners that they already have like with Florida they compare me to C.J. Henderson, because he’s about 6-1, 6-2, my height and he says I play just like him,” Brooks said. “Other schools like my technique, my ball skills, and my speed.”
