Last week, Waterbury (Conn.) St. Thomas More four-star defensive back Tyler Rudolph named Florida in his top five. On Wednesday, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound four-star recruit announced plans to use an official visit to Florida on June 1. Florida cornerbacks coach Charlton Warren is the one leading Rudolph’s recruitment for the Gators. Warren is slated to visit Rudolph later in the spring ‘evaluation period.’

Penn State, Clemson, Ohio State, and Michigan round out Rudolph’s top five. Many believe the Nittany Lions hold the edge for Rudolph’s pledge with Clemson running in second. In fact, 100-percent of the predictions on the 247Sports Crystal Ball are for Rudolph to pick Penn State. Both programs hosted Rudolph on campus this month.

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite currently ranks Rudolph as the nation’s No. 309 overall prospect and the No. 23 safety in the 2019 class.
