Administrative Assistant – Manufacturing – Surterra Wellness – Wimauma, FL

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Administrative Assistant will provide office and clerical support to the Manufacturing team. This includes scheduling, data entry, preparing summary reports and maintaining an accurate filing system. This individual will also manage visitors to the facility and conduct tours as required. As a representative of the company, you will follow established policies and procedures as required to comply with state regulations.

CORE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manufacturing Operations support – data input and management. Develop reports to track and aid in manufacturing success.
  • Clerical responsibilities – input, organize and file invoices/receipts for deliveries and services completed. Produce PO’s for manufacturing purchases. Manage monthly inventory counts and complete accurate summary reports. Assist manufacturing team with administrative needs.
  • Learn and understand seed to sale tracking software. Export/organize data.
  • Manage facility visitors and coordinate schedules with key staff. Lead tours through facility when needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating all SOP’s relating to manufacturing processes. Ensure manufacturing logs are up to date and kept in compliance.
  • Create and distribute agendas and meeting materials
  • Create communication on behalf of management
  • Keep track of project status’

  • Cursory understanding and knowledge of manufacturing

  • Comfort with security protocols, including video monitoring and employee tracking.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to lift 20 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
  • The ability to be able to be in constant standing/moving position.
  • The ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
  • The ability to work in extreme weather.
