Area Coordinator – Southern Region
Job Description

Locations: Southern Region – Approximately 7-10 locations

1. Assist in the process to Hire, Evaluate, Train, Manage, Terminate, Discipline all
Managers within the assigned area.
2. Assure the training and following of all operating procedures and state rules and
regulations including drug tests and background checks.
3. Monitor schedules and assure that enough staff is hired to avoid overtime and staff the
4. Keeps inventory in perfect order and assures proper quantity.

Report up any incidents reported at locations
Report down any required communications
Review previous days sales look for concerning trends
Review previous days labor look for non compliance
Tour locations

§ Returned items are sealed in a bank bag and labeled with the patients name who
returned them and the employee who sealed the bag and the date. (Ready to be
sent to Quincy)
§ Security cameras cover the inventory room
§ Door is secure
§ Audit inventory and verify manager is doing inventory audits as well

§ Bathroom is clean
§ 5 in 1 Poster is up
§ Copy of previous years osha log is displayed

§ Assure checklists are being used
§ Observe sales and be sure Manager is properly training staff on our products and
sales are being conducted properly
§ Assure MJFreeway is being used correctly

  • Approve Staffing schedules
  • Attend weekly conference call
  • Be a buffer of communication between the grow and dispensaries
  • Review and assign proper inventory levels
  • Look at long term trends
  • Review advertising plans and make recommendations
  • Monitor and assist with construction within the region
  • Order items for new stores
  • Setup MJ Freeway for new locations within region

Education and/or Experience
College Degree or Appropriate Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of

Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of dispensary
software, Internet, and word processing systems.
