Role Summary:

The Control Manager will assist in the development of team members. Serves as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the Control Manager. Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Helps develop SOPs and other processes to ensure an accurate inventory is maintained

Prepare and complete multisite projects dealing with inventory and processes

Helps the control manager conduct monthly inventories at multiple sites across the state of Florida

Communicate with purchasing, finance, planning, production and cultivation departments to ensure all departments have materials and information to complete their jobs

Monitors, audits, reports and maintains Key Performance Indicators pertaining to inventory management

Identify OS&D (Overages, Shortages, and Damages) on all inventory levels.

Works with the Conciliation & Control Supervisor to ensure cycle counts are done in each department

Research historical movement of inventory in WMS to resolve discrepancies

Issue written and or oral feedback to control manager related to process improvements

Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Ensure all sites are following SOPs when utilizing the ERP system to ensure inventory is being kept as accurate as possible in this fast-paced environment

Applicant must be able to travel to multiple sites and out of state sites to help train and ensure all sites are operating

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with ERP systems required

Understanding of Good Inventory Management practices

Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree.

1-2 years? experience in Material Planning and/or Production Scheduling is preferred

Experience in the manufacturing industry with an understanding of scheduling and inventory concepts.

Good communication skills required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, etc)

ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:

Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening

Must be at least 21 years of age (State Law)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance

Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks

Must be able to handle organic matter daily, able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection), and able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)

Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions

Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise)

WORK SCHEDULE:

40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
