Brand Marketing Director – Trulieve – Tallahassee, FL

The Brand Marketing Director of Florida reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Trulieve. This position manages Trulieve’s brand development throughout the state of Florida. As Brand Marketing Director this position works closely with a range of partners, including but not limited to agencies, the digital marketing team, creative team, retail marketing, brand partners and more to ensure the success of the Trulieve brand online and offline with a special emphasis on UX throughout the patient journey.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Work with CMO, brand and agency partners to deliver Trulieve’s marketing KPIs
  • Evaluate and optimize all aspects of marketing campaigns, from campaign development process to execution, review and reporting of results
    • Campaigns may include social media, digital media, website development, influencer management, SEO, radio, OOH or loyalty programs
  • Manage the Florida regional marketing budget
  • Monitor category trends and market anomalies to develop customized growth strategies
  • In collaboration with the creative team, community engagement team and retail area managers, develop localized content needs and communication initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate with Florida retail marketing promotional plans
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are compliant with state and local regulations
  • Continually provide input to improve Trulieve’s brand position in Florida
  • Be a Trulieve brand champion

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or business-related field; MBA a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive brand management and/or marketing experience
  • Management/supervisory experience with proven team/consensus building skills
  • Demonstrated translation of data into insights or implications that impact strategy
  • Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting/financial skills
  • Experience with e-commerce, loyalty programs and fundamentals of SEO/SEM
  • Strong critical decision-making skills
  • Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Must work well under pressure and within tight timelines and shifting priorities
  • Must be a self-starter and thought leader
  • The role is based in Tallahassee, FL
  • Travel up to 50% throughout Florida
  • Per state requirement candidates must pass Level 1 and 2 background check
