GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Football team is back on the road this weekend as it travels to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Vanderbilt at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
 
Dan Mullen faced Derek Mason during Mason’s first year as Vanderbilt’s head coach in 2014. Then in his sixth year as Mississippi State’s head coach, Mullen led his team to a 51-0 victory over Vanderbilt that year.
 
The 2014 encounter has been the only matchup between the two head coaches.
 
Meanwhile, UF holds the series edge over Vandy, 39-10-2, and has lost to the Commodores just once since 1989. In addition, the Gators are 17-7-1 on the road in Nashville with their last loss coming 1988.
