Cabling Technician – Curaleaf – Mount Dora, FL

  • Install, maintain and repair network cabling systems; CAT6, Fiber.
  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace network connectivity issues.
  • Pull, route and/or label CAT6 and Fiber cables and test according to the highest industry standards in new construction projects.
  • Network rack installation and device installation such as, but not limited to network switches, gateways, and battery backups.
  • Install support structures including cable management racks, conduits and other related structures.
  • Communicate with other members of the construction team on projects.
  • Follow all safety and building regulations as dictated by company policy.
  • Read and understand building plans, floor plans and other construction documents during projects.
  • Experience with IT helpdesk ticketing system for tracking trouble and request tickets.
  • Experience with Project Management software for tracking building projects.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license required.
  • Willing to travel state-wide and have reliable transportation.


  • Three years or more installing, repairing or replacing network systems cabling.
  • Basic understanding of networking and TCP/IP.
  • Ability to work in cramped places.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with IT department in troubleshooting and fixing problems that arise from network connectivity issues.
  • Knowledge of TIA/EIA Structured Cabling Standards.
  • Some IT background preferred but not necessary.
