JUPITER, Fla. (AP) — Carlos Castro hit a bases-clearing double in the third inning, leading the Florida Fire Frogs to a 6-5 win over the Jupiter Hammerheads on Sunday.

The double by Castro scored Stephen Gaylor, Ray-Patrick Didder, and Braxton Davidson to give the Fire Frogs a 3-0 lead.

After Jupiter scored a run in the third on a home run by Justin Twine, the Hammerheads extended the lead with four runs in the fifth inning, including a single by Twine that scored Angel Reyes.

The Fire Frogs later tacked on three runs in the eighth, including a single by Gaylor that scored Alejandro Salazar.

Sean McLaughlin (4-4) got the win with three innings of scoreless relief while Ben Holmes (0-6) took the loss in the Florida State League game. Chase Johnson-Mullins pitched two scoreless innings for his third save of the season.

Twine homered and singled, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple for the Hammerheads.
