The eighth and final season of “Game of Thrones,” which only consists of six episodes, will air on HBO sometime in 2018, but the release date could potentially be as late as 2019. As it has been widely reported, each episode of the eighth season could be “feature film” length, as it builds up to its epic conclusion.
