The Cultivation Data Analyst(CDA) will be a trailblazer in our Cultivation Analytics practice. In this role, the CDA work with operational output and environment variables data to find trends and correlations as they relate to our Cultivation KPIs. New data point variables are constantly being added, the CDA will continuously look for areas of improvement. This role will leverage standard data analytics best practices but will also have the freedom to explore cause-effect relationships on her/his own. The CDA will be responsible for monitoring and verifying yields and own the projection process. This position will ensure timely completion of monthly executive and financial reporting. The CDA works at enterprise level but will rely on close relationships with local Cultivation and R&D teams to produce accurate and reliable reporting and results.

Analyzing large, multi-sourced, multi-dimensional datasets and identify actionable insights and recommendations that guide strategic and day-to day business decisions in Cultivation, Horticulture, Integrated Pest Management, and Supply Chain Planning

Creating and maintaining metrics to ensure the Cultivations teams are on-track to achieve their overall objectives

Building and leveraging KPIs and reporting to ensure visibility of Cultivation Analytics throughout the entire organization

Assisting in harvest yield forecasting and projection

Contribute and eventually manage Consensus Harvest Forecasting process and meeting

Creating, executing, and managing tasks and project work plans

Collaborate with Cultivation Managers on plant schedules, cloning calendars, and planning

Supporting and eventually leading cross-functional initiatives to translate analytic recommendations into real-world process improvements


Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Agriculture Sciences, Finance or Financial Analysis, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field is required.

1-3 years of demonstrated and/or transferrable work experience

Experience working in an Analytic tool like Alteryx, SAS, Tibco, Dataminr or similar, SPSS

Advanced MS Excel skills with experience analyzing large data sets

Strong PowerPoint skills with experience crafting presentations and communicating messages effectively with charts and graphs to represent analytical results

Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other reporting/visualization tools preferred.

SQL experience a plus but not required

Age 21 or over (Required)
