I love Surterra for their distillate vape prices. However since their switch to the black top vape cartridges (pictured) my experience has been so much worse than before. The newer blacktop vape carts always always clog up fast and to get them unclogged involves basically collapsing a lung and then a good amount of the oil comes out of the tip. On the older style clear top (also pictured), the top collected the excess so it never, not once had the oil come out of the tip. Please switch back to the previous style vape carts!!I always keep my carts upright and not in the heat and the McDonald’s bag is what I used to wipe my vape off at the time from the oil that kept coming out.

I signed up online and pre-order some flower and some crumble.I then visited the shop for the first time 11/14/23. I was impressed at how fast the service was. As it was my first time there was a 60% discount. So I had a lot in my cart. I brought what I thought was enough cash to purchase the product. It seems my math and there math was not the same. So I didn't have enough cash on me to cover my order. So I reluctantly removed an item. Now I'm a little discouraged because the math wasn't that hard to figure out, but seems some products don't fall under the 60% first timers or it wasn't actually 60% off. So now I'm getting more frustrated because I'm scrambling around to find $6 to complete my order. Long story short. The staff stayed positive and helpful. Even though I was clearly irritated by this point. Hats off to the great service and I will make sure to have a little extra cash on me. So this dosnt happen again. They have another payment option, but of course my bank couldn't be located. All in all good experience and a great product. Flower is fresh and tasty. The crumble is very nice and packs a punch. Thanks for The patience as I was having a moment 🤣🤣

Upon arriving, the manager Ray and the assistant Tabatha from the Deltona store were very inviting and made me feel welcome. Tabitha was very honest when I asked questions. She was great and convinced me to try something new that turned out to be perfect for my needs. I was in and out in no time. They truly have a very knowledgeable staff. I used to love this place, but the selection has been too limited to suit my needs, as I like to buy quantity. I decided to give it a try again today because I needed something today, otherwise I would have used a different dispensary with delivery service. I placed my order at 9:30 this morning and did not get a notification until NINE HOURS later, which was less than an hour and a half before they closed. I didn't see the notification until about 8pm, and so I just barely missed getting there on time. It's pretty frustrating that I wasted a day and a trip like that (driving is extremely difficult for me, so I normally do not drive unless I have to.) I was a huge fan of Surterra because of their super convenient pre-pay option, but I doubt I will consider them next time I need to buy.

Today makes the fourth time in 6 weeks that I've driven an hour to this dispensary only to find out that they are sold out on anything good on their menu. Each time they even handed me a paper menu when I came in with products on it that weren't available. Each time somebody commented that they better reprint the menus and correct the website. I now believe that they keep the high end product listed knowing that if you come all the way there you'll end up buying something even if they don't have what you came for. Advertise flower in the high twenties only to offer product at only 20%. This was my go-to place ... "Was" this the key word.

The wait time was short and I was able to make some other purchases while there. After shopping with Surterra for about 3 years now, I recommend them to a friend who also has his card. We went to the Deltona store together so I could help him navigate the selection. The employee working the front desk seemed instantly panicked when my friend mentioned that he was a new customer. The employee was very inexperienced with the menu and product. Yet when I tried to help my friend understand the menu, the front desk person told us quite awkwardly that we had to be careful about suggesting (even though we were both card holders and the employee couldn't answer the question! ) I wasn't expecting any special treatment but no one thanked us or me for bringing a new customer in. Instead we were fussed at for me helping him with a simple, easy question. Made no sense. This was his first experience as a new customer. Then a manager type showed up with a salt and pepper beard complaining out loud about how many people were in the store. "Everyone wants their medicine" *with a sarcastic tone. Bad first impression.

Love this store. It’s my go to dispensary. The CSRs are always friendly with a smile on their face and they know me by name. They know what kind of products I like and give me good recommendations about new products they have in. It would be a 5 star review but I have one complaint. They have amazing daily deals but they are not planned out in advance. It would be nice to have notice of even a week of the daily deals coming up. I only use one type of product and it’s frustrating to make a purchase one day and then find out there is a special the next day of that product type. To have a schedule of the weeks deals would be really nice and helpful.

By far the best dispensary in the area. For first visits the store usually gives you 15% off and then 20% off the second. Basically you place your order online for pickup or you view a menu with help from staff that takes orders. After your orders been placed, it takes a few minutes, and then you pay and pick up your items at the counter on your right. I have not shopped online, but I've seen other patients tell the staff they placed an online order and then they were directed to the plastic window where you pay and receive your medical marijuana.

I have always had a great customer experience at Surterra in Deltona, especially as compared to the "other" nearby dispensary in Orange City. The other company never answers a phone and also does not update Leafly on what's in stock. Surterra Wellness Deltona makes everything much easier. When I had an issue with my order once, they bent over backwards to remedy the problem and to be sure I was fully satisfied. People are nice, but that's not what I'm there for. The cartridges taste disgusting, like insecticide. I had all 3 they displayed and the grandaddy purple tasted like straight up rubber. The other two tasted almost as disgusting. This is my favorite surterra location so we make the drive even tho the Orlando location is closer to my home. Christopher and Sarah have been especially very helpful. I have stage 4 endometriosis so it is painful to walk most days, and this location has been very accommodating of me so I can get my medicine. I’ve been a happy customer for over the past year and a half. It’s also the fastest location I’ve been to, and the most professional. They always give correct change back (unlike numerous other dispensary clerks). Always a great selection of both thc and cbd formulations, and the best flower for the best value.

Purchasing Marijuana Products at Surterra
During your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders will make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.

I love Surterra for their distillate vape prices. However since their switch to the black top vape cartridges (pictured) my experience has been so much worse than before. The newer blacktop vape carts always always clog up fast and to get them unclogged involves basically collapsing a lung and then a good amount of the oil comes out of the tip. On the older style clear top (also pictured), the top collected the excess so it never, not once had the oil come out of the tip. Please switch back to the previous style vape carts!!I always keep my carts upright and not in the heat and the McDonald’s bag is what I used to wipe my vape off at the time from the oil that kept coming out.

As it was my first time there was a 60% discount. So I had a lot in my cart. I brought what I thought was enough cash to purchase the product. It seems my math and there math was not the same. So I didn't have enough cash on me to cover my order. So I reluctantly removed an item. Now I'm a little discouraged because the math wasn't that hard to figure out, but seems some products don't fall under the 60% first timers or it wasn't actually 60% off. So now I'm getting more frustrated because I'm scrambling around to find $6 to complete my order. Long story short. The staff stayed positive and helpful. Even though I was clearly irritated by this point. Hats off to the great service and I will make sure to have a little extra cash on me. So this dosnt happen again. I used to love this place, but the selection has been too limited to suit my needs, as I like to buy quantity. I decided to give it a try again today because I needed something today, otherwise I would have used a different dispensary with delivery service. I placed my order at 9:30 this morning and did not get a notification until NINE HOURS later, which was less than an hour and a half before they closed. I didn't see the notification until about 8pm, and so I just barely missed getting there on time. It's pretty frustrating that I wasted a day and a trip like that (driving is extremely difficult for me, so I normally do not drive unless I have to.) I was a huge fan of Surterra because of their super convenient pre-pay option, but I doubt I will consider them next time I need to buy.

Each time they even handed me a paper menu when I came in with products on it that weren't available. Each time somebody commented that they better reprint the menus and correct the website. I now believe that they keep the high end product listed knowing that if you come all the way there you'll end up buying something even if they don't have what you came for. The employee working the front desk seemed instantly panicked when my friend mentioned that he was a new customer. The employee was very inexperienced with the menu and product. Yet when I tried to help my friend understand the menu, the front desk person told us quite awkwardly that we had to be careful about suggesting (even though we were both card holders and the employee couldn't answer the question! ) I wasn't expecting any special treatment but no one thanked us or me for bringing a new customer in. By far the best dispensary in the area. For first visits the store usually gives you 15% off and then 20% off the second. Basically you place your order online for pickup or you view a menu with help from staff that takes orders. After your orders been placed, it takes a few minutes, and then you pay and pick up your items at the counter on your right. I have not shopped online, but I've seen other patients tell the staff they placed an online order and then they were directed to the plastic window where you pay and receive your medical marijuana.

When I had an issue with my order once, they bent over backwards to remedy the problem and to be sure I was fully satisfied. I highly recommend this business as the best and nicest dispensary in W Volusia.

I've been to this place maybe three or four times now and receive excellent customer service and sanitary procedures each time I go in. Today I went in and purchased the wrong item so I went back to exchange and while they did not accept the exchange due to sanitary issues with covid-19 now they did give me a discount on a product that I needed. They were extremely helpful and understanding and I always leave there feeling better than I did when I went in.

Also clearly writing the names instead of just initials because you have to just go back and look it up to see what you have. Every other dispensary puts it nice and clear on their website and on their bottles this is the only dispensary that does not wish that would change.

People are nice, but that's not what I'm there for. The cartridges taste disgusting, like insecticide. I had all 3 they displayed and the grandaddy purple tasted like straight up rubber. The other two tasted almost as disgusting. I will only go if I'm in a pinch.I've found a great product here called float that I was offered by staff after my complaint and I've been going back ever since!

This is my favorite surterra location so we make the drive even tho the Orlando location is closer to my home. Christopher and Sarah have been especially very helpful. I have stage 4 endometriosis so it is painful to walk most days, and this location has been very accommodating of me so I can get my medicine. I’ve been a happy customer for over the past year and a half. It’s also the fastest location I’ve been to, and the most professional. They always give correct change back (unlike numerous other dispensary clerks). Always a great selection of both thc and cbd formulations, and the best flower for the best value.
