Dooley: No turkey picks in final weeks – Gainesville Sun
Now that your bellies are filled with turkey and stuffing and you have that glassed over look in your eyes, maybe I can sneak something by you quickly.
Like my record in the second half of the season.
It has been putrid, like that time your grandmother forgot she had asparagus in the oven and dozed off.
But this time of year is not about who’s right and who’s wrong or who voted for whom. It’s about coming together as a family and remembering all the things you are thankful for in this world.
Or stuffing your face like you have been on a deserted island and plopping on the recliner to watch football, belch and unbuckle your belt. Did someone say dessert?
However you celebrated Thanksgiving, I certainly am thankful for all of the people in my life, my family and friends and all of the readers and listeners except the ones who think I’m a tool. Oh, what the heck, bring it in, all of you. Group hug.
OK, before I get too emotional let’s get on with The Picks. After a brutal 5-5 record I’m at 69-41 for the season. Need a big weekend. I am focused.
Are you going to eat that turkey leg?

If you think it will help. FSU, 24-21.
MICHIGAN AT OHIO STATE: ESPN’s GameDay is doing a five-hour preview show before this one. To which I say, no thanks. It’s a big game, but there will be bigger ones in
