The purpose of this position is to provide direct onsite management and administration of the housekeeping department and to ensure facilities is provided adequate and timely custodial services.

Communicates with other department leaders with any supply or cleaning needs

Manages the daily tasks of the entire Environmental Services staff, assigns tasks to respective staff members, including the Coordinator and Team Leaders

Responsible for ordering custodial supplies, cleaning chemicals for the department as well as supplies for the breakroom and vending machines

Responsible for managing the Environmental Services calendar on Google Drive, inputting harvest dates and cleaning dates for Flower, Veg and Nursery, transfers, restocks, and transplants

Responsible for updating the physical white board(s) and managing the daily cleaning checklist for the staff

Responsible for maintaining updated records for MSDS binders for all Environmental Services chemicals

Responsible for updating departmental policies and procedures

Communicates with Cintas to ensure all supplies are delivered and accounted for

Maintains time and attendance and all other conduct and related requirements at all times

Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote efficiency, and strives to increase productivity

Demonstrates leadership by actions and acts as an example to others at all times

Coordinates and communicates staff training


Age 21 or over (Required)

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)

3+ years of management experience in custodial/environmental services duties.

Solid computer literacy and experience with Google Drive, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel based applications.

Leads by example when understanding policies and procedures for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and waste materials

Multi-tasks and demonstrates the ability to work under pressure

Upbeat and high energy professional, very organized and detail-oriented

Ability to communicate professionally at all times in person, over the phone and via email

Great problem-solving skills; can find resolution in a timely and professional manner

Ability to work independently and develop team strategies to improve the department
