Star of the game: After bring targeted only once in the first quarter, Adam Boselli finished the game with 92 receiving yards and touchdown that came on a 28-yard throw. A.J. Wooten also had 140 receiving yards and a score, but Episcopal lost in its playoff opener.
Turning point: As Episcopal (8-2) attempted to rally for a potential go-ahead score with less than four minutes to play, Episcopal QB Joseph Brunell threw the ball deep from Florida High’s 43-yard line but was intercepted by safety Kevin Sawyer Jr. The interception was Brunell’s only turnover after going 13-of-21 for 186 yards in the game. The Seminoles (6-5) ran out the clock on their next possession.
On defense: Jamie Surface recovered a fumble in the third quarter which led to a touchdown for the Eagles on the next possession.
