WHAT HAPPENED: Junior forward Colin Castleton scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half, pacing four UF players into double-figure scoring and igniting the Gators to a big home win Saturday at Exactech Arena/O’Connell Center. Junior forward Anthony Duruji had 16 points and seven rebounds (both his UF highs since transferring from Louisiana Tech), sophomore point guard Tre Mann equaled his career-best of 19 points and grabbed five rebounds, and sophomore wing Scottie Lewis had 17 points, including two free throws with 5.6 seconds left that basically sealed the deal. Castleton, the 6-foot-11, 231-pound transfer from Michigan, played barely two minutes of the first half before heading to the bench with a second foul. He started out of the locker room with the game tied at 40-all and proceeded to score UF’s first 15 points of the period, as the Gators worked their way to a double-digit lead, 62-52, when Mann swished a 3-pointer from the top of the key with just inside 12 minutes remaining.
