Florida’s coaching search ended with the Gators hiring Dan Mullen on Nov. 26, but there were a lot of twists and turns along the way.

On Wednesday, UF athletic director Scott Stricklin addressed the chaos that temporarily haunted Gainesville in late November. Via USA Today’s Dan Wolken:

Stricklin is likely referring to the dozens of rumors involving the Gators and now-UCLA coach Chip Kelly and now-Nebraska coach Scott Frost. With some of those rumors, Stricklin took to Twitter to address them personally.

In the end, the Gators got their man with Mullen and Stricklin has returned to being entertaining and honest on social media.
