Florida Gets Off to Hot Start at Southern Intercollegiate Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – Florida began the Southern Intercollegiate Championships on Friday with a good outing in singles play as the team went 7-1 on the day.

Coming into Friday’s matchup with Auburn, the Gators were 39-7 in singles matches so far this fall and continued that positive momentum with an almost spotless record on day one in Athens.

The duos of Sam Riffice/Duarte Vale and Will Grant/Lukas Greif earned victories in doubles for UF.

Florida is scheduled to play Georgia on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can follow along with that match via both live results and livestream.
