Rafy Rodriguez’s Yelp reviews as a barber sing of his artistry in handling hair. They don’t address whether or how Rodriguez is as adept at handling cocaine or marijuana.

Miami Beach police, probably well-coiffed after a month of haircuts and surveillance at La Vaina Barbershop, addressed that in the eight-page report after Rodriguez’s Monday arrest.

Rodriguez, 36, is facing 10 counts of marijuana possession and selling; seven counts of cocaine possession and selling; five counts of ecstasy possession and selling; and two counts of using a communications device in an unlawful act.

He’s being held on $120,000 bond.

La Vaina Barbershop, located at 6634 Collins Ave., gets four-and-a-half stars on Yelp, apparently partially because of Rodriguez.

One reviewer wrote, “It’s the best barbershop in South Florida. … Raffy & Michael make u feel like family when you walk in … and they both take their craft seriously which is all u can ask for … I am loyal customer from NY … so when I tell them (they) can both cut … I mean it..keep doing it guys!”

Another wrote in October 2016, “Coming from NY haven’t been able to really find a great barbershop in SFL … and came across La Vaina that just opened up and I think I found my new spot in Miami … brand new, experienced barbers, friendly spot and very well maintained. Ask for Rafy he will have you looking like a (Million).”

But when Undercover Detective A sat in Rodriguez’s chair on March 15, the arrest report says, he didn’t ask Rodriguez to look like a million dollars. He asked Rodriguez for $40, specifically, if the barber could hook him up with a “40 piece” of “green.”

After Rodriguez returned with $40 of marijuana and started to cut Undercover Detective B’s hair, the
