Jimbo Fisher is usually between steaming and livid after the second scrimmage of fall camp but this year? He’s all smiles.

“Very pleased with the scrimmage,” Fisher said.

“One side made plays and the other side had good plays made. Very efficient. You always worry about getting penalties, misalignments, communication, getting subs in and out.

“A lot of things operationally that I thought was very sharp. Much sharper than the first. Not that the first was really that bad, but it was one of the better ones that we’ve had.”

The praise went all around as Fisher had great things to say about both the offense and the defense during the scrimmage.

He was also pleased with how competitive the game was.

“I thought the offense was very efficient in the game,” Fisher said.

Auden Tate is ready to get started.

For FSU to have a successful September its offensive line has to come out the gates firing on all cylinders.
