TAMPERE, Finland – Four Gators—all rising sophomores—are competing at this week’s IAAF World U20 Championships. As the meet plays out (oftentimes in the day’s earliest hours for those of us in the United States), continue to check this page for updated results and daily schedules. This will be the one-stop shop for our coverage of the event, meaning the daily recaps will be right here, not published as a separate entry on FloridaGators.com. Bottom line: any and all news, results, and even social media fun from Finland will be on this page all week long.

Florida’s representatives in Finland are: Enzo Hodebar (men’s long jump), Taylor Manson (women’s 400 meters; 4×400 relay), Cory Poole (men’s 110-meter hurdles; 400-meter hurdles), and Chantz Sawyers (men’s 400 meters; 4×400 relay).

Manson, Poole, and Sawyers all won national U20 titles in the individual events they will compete in. By virtue of their 400 meters titles, Manson and Sawyers were added to their respective nation’s relay pools.

Here’s where the Gators rank in their individual events among IAAF World U20 Championships entrants:
