The fifth annual senior showcase will be played Dec. 31 at Atlantic High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.

This year’s Florida roster is a strong one, according to Atlantic coach and Prep and Sports co-founder Jameal Stewart.

“I can truly say that we have a dynamic group of kids selected this year,” Stewart told in a story posted Friday. “Not to take anything away from the previous year, but I think our size upfront on both sides of the ball will be key factor to win this year’s game.

“Every kid on this roster was a game changer and playmaker for their teams this season.”

The game, also known as The Clash of Scholar Athletes, provides exposure for high school seniors. It matches the top players from Palm Beach County against the top players from the Atlanta (Ga.) metropolitan area.

Team Florida holds a 3-1 series edge. Florida won last year’s game, played Jan. 2 at Boynton Beach High School, 28-10. Team Florida also won in 2013 and 2014.
