Gator Tales 235: Ventrell Miller at Mic, South Carolina Preview & More

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Against the odds, the 2020 season kicked off for the Gators last weekend in Oxford, Miss., where Florida put on a dazzling offensive display in a 51-35 win over Ole Miss. Now ranked No. 3 in the nation for the first time in eight years, the Gators are gearing up to host South Carolina in their socially distanced Swamp debut.
On today’s show, host Adam Schick catches up with redshirt-junior linebacker Ventrell Miller to learn what it was like playing in the time of COVID, how he has taken the leadership reins from David Reese and much more (1:43).
Then, senior writers Scott Carter and Chris Harry reflect back on a wild opener and look ahead to the Gamecocks’ visit to Gainesville (20:45).
