PANAMA CITY — The Gulf Coast volleyball team cruised to an easy three-set win over Florida Gateway College on Thursday night in its home debut, winning 25-17, 25-9, 25-14. The Lady Commodores improved to 2-0 with the victory.

Mary Daniel led Gulf Coast with 20 kills to go along with 17 digs, while Madison Daniel had 11 kills and 19 digs. Briahna Slater had a team-high 21 digs and four ace serves, while Jamie Clark led the way with 36 assists, and Madison Pickens added seven kills.

After competing in a scrimmage at Auburn University at Montgomery on Saturday, the Lady Commodores return home on Thursday to play host to Andrew College.
