The business is a “blue-collar” manufacturing-based operation-oriented workplace and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a like or similar environment.
We are looking for a reliable General Maintenance Team Leader to oversee all preventative maintenance, installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities. This individual will responsible for assisting the Facilities Maintenance Manager with day to day activities and well as projects for all Trulieve Grow and Processing sites. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget.
A great maintenance General Maintenance Team Lead will have a solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. They will be well-versed in all maintenance process and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will also have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, and adhering to budgeting.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Check all systems of buildings to ensure functionality
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff and activities
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Proven experience as a maintenance tech, with supervisory or lead role experience is a must.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership or supervision
Experience in planning maintenance operations
Solid understanding of technical aspects of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school will be an advantage
Experience with preventative maintenance programs is a must
Knowledge of CMMS systems is a plus.
Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
