Sight-fishing expert Shaw Grigsby of Gainesville, Fla., will be the featured speaker at the Jan. 12-14 Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. Grigsby is scheduled for seminars on Friday and Saturday during the event.

A 2017 inductee of the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame, the Florida pro has won nine Bassmaster tournaments and placed 66 times in the top 10 while amassing more than $2 million in career winnings since he began fishing as a pro in 1977. A 16-time qualifier for the Bassmaster Classic and winner of the 2011 Elite Series event on Florida’s Harris Chain of Lakes, Grigsby also hosts the fishing show One More Cast With Shaw Grigsby on the Sportsmen Channel.

Grigsby will be joined by fellow pros Timmy Horton of Muscle Shoals, Ala., an 11-time Classic qualifier and 2006 Angler of the Year in his rookie season, and John Crews of Salem, Va., 9-times Classic qualifier and winner of the 2010 Elite Series tournament on the Delta.

Horton will give presentations throughout the three days of the show while Crews will give seminars on Friday and Saturday.

Other presenters include crappie experts Freddie Sinclair of Garner and Eddie Moody of Roxboro, bass anglers Buster Seabolt of Dunn and Scott Favors of Spotsylvania, Va., and saltwater charter captains Rick Bennett of Wrightsville Beach, Rod “Ponytail” Thomas of Lexington, Jerry Dilsaver of Oak Island, Dave Tilley of Carolina Beach and Bobby Brewer of Oriental.
