Lead Dispensary Operations Coordinator – Overview

Trulieve, Inc. is an innovative, industry leading manufacturing and distribution company in the medical cannabis field that is seeking a Lead Dispensary Ops Coordinator for the state of Florida to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Retail Operations and will be responsible for effectively executing all facets of dispensary operations management throughout the state of Florida, including the management of the Trulieve Florida Dispensary Operations team. It will be your responsibility to support Regional Area Coordinators, support the operational practices of all stores throughout Florida, ensuring seamless operation, in conjunction with marketing and sales campaigns and meeting budget and sales goals while establishing exceptional customer service protocols.

Job description
The Lead Dispensary Operations Coordinator’s primary role is to support the Head of Retail Operations in all facets of dispensary operations management throughout the state of Florida.
The Lead Ops Coordinator will be expected to assist in hiring, evaluating, and training the Florida Area Coordinators. Using strong oversight skills, the Lead Coordinator will monitor dispensary operations and ensure they are following budget and corporate mandates. The Lead Ops Coordinator will display strong communication skills in both speaking to patients and doctors as well as in mentoring, motivating and developing coordinators and dispensary managers. Strong leadership skills, including effective time management, prioritization and delegation, are required.
In this role, you must be able to see the big picture as well as the finer details, as your work is across the spectrum. You will deal in small daily matters, as well as larger aims and setting goals. A systematic organized approach to work is vital. Having natural creative flair and being full of ideas and energy to introduce new concepts and innovations would also be advantageous. You will be traveling around the state of Florida every week. A clean driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities
As the Lead Dispensary Ops Coordinator, you will manage the company’s Florida Dispensary Operations team. You will aid Regional Coordinators in hiring and coaching managers throughout the state. In line with the company’s primary philosophy, you will constantly work with all dispensary personnel in providing exceptional customer service to its patients. You will work with the Head of Dispensary Operations in developing plans for operations, future growth, and the implementation of operational improvements. The Lead Ops Coordinator will work with the Demand Planner and Logistics Coordinator to ensure proper inventory and ordering levels at all dispensaries and warehouses. The Lead Ops Coordinator will monitor the dispensary budget throughout the year. You will also be expected to attend patient and doctor outreach programs as well as other company-sponsored community events.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each responsibility
exceptionally well and always reflect a strong, professional persona. Proven experience
managing a regional or district operation (3-5 years) would be strongly preferred. The
candidate will possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills. The Lead Ops
Coordinator should work well with colleagues and be willing to collaborate with others to
address common issues. You will also need to show an adaptability and willingness to pivot directions as circumstances require. Additionally, you will need to be at least 21 years of age and able to successfully pass a comprehensive background screening.
You will be expected to have a college degree and show progressive improvement in your career. You must possess the ability to read and interpret various types of documents. It is important that you can communicate well to customers and company employees. Additionally, you must display strong mathematical skills and the ability to analyze numbers. You should own the ability recognize potential problems and solution situations as they present themselves. You should have strong computer skills, with a strong preference to Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and MJ Freeway. The candidate will have the ability and willingness to travel a minimum of two and up to five overnight trips each week driving and flying throughout Florida.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 60 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
