A Long Island man was killed when he crashed a sports car into a tree in Florida last week, according to multiple reports.

Raymond Sayage, 51, of East Islip, and his passenger, 34-year-old Keri Lynn Sapanara, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., were both killed in the crash, which occurred around 6 p.m last Thursday, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Sayage, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was driving a 2006 Dodge Viper north on Interstate 95 when he lost control of the car and crashed into a tree, the report says.
