Maintenance Team Lead 2nd Shift – Trulieve, INC – Quincy, FL

Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead

Department: Facilities

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Location: Midway, FL

Role Summary:

The goal is to ensure the company facilities are well-cared for and adequate to support the company?s business operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
  • Check all systems of buildings to ensure functionality
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
  • Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff and activities
  • Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
  • Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus
  • Must be a quick learner and team player
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 5 years Lead/Supervisory experience
  • 4-year college degree in related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of warehouse and inventory skills and knowledge to include shipping experience and the use of a computerized inventory management system and bar code scanners is a big plus


ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (State Law)


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance tech, with supervisory or lead role experience is a must.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leadership or supervision
  • Experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.
  • Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
  • Ability to keep track of and report on activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school will be an advantage
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs is a must
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems is a plus.


WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
