WILLISON, Fla. (WILX) – Security cameras at a Florida assisted living facility caught one resident beating another resident.

A 52-year-old man repeatedly punched and 86-year-old man more than 50 times.

The 86-year-old man has dementia and curled up on the floor.

Police say the beating started after the 52-year-old man accused the 86-year-old man of eating his cupcake.

According to police the man who did the punching had previously suffered from a traumatic brain injury.

Police say he wasn’t charged with any crimes because of his “limited capacity”.

The 52-year-old man was temporarily removed from the facility but allowed to return under supervision.

The 86-year-old man was hospitalized after the beating.

Two employees at this facility were arrested recently because of separate incidents.

The facility was also shut down last week.
