The HRIS Manager manages and oversees Parallel’s Human Resources Information Systems. This position develops, implements and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. The HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff.

Ensure the optimal function and compliance of Parallel’s internal HR information systems, which may include database management, requirements definition, testing and end user support and training

Work with IT and HR leadership to define and prioritize enhancements and the HRIS roadmap

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations

Research vendors and implement new integrations as needed

Manage internal database files, tables, codes, backup files, integrity, and security as well as permissions, access, personalization, and similar settings for HR users

Provide initial technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR employees

Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases and serve as the liaison between the company and external vendors to implement solutions

Assist with complex data requests, automated queries, and custom filters, macros, and reports

Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications

Facilitates migration to a unified HRIS, if required


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or Information Technology

5+ years of professional experience in an HR capacity (Benefits, Compliance, etc.)

3+ years administrating a commercial HRIS

SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP certification preferred

Solid knowledge of databases and the ability to build complex reports

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong project management background

Age 21 or over (Required)

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
