Parallel is seeking a Manager, Licensing and Permitting who will be responsible for planning, managing, developing work rules, training, coordinating and administering all activities associated with Capital Projects, Compliance, Finance and Operations.

  • Managing, monitoring, and overseeing the licensing and permitting processing team for all Parallel facilities across the enterprise, which may include training, work assignments, performance evaluations, development and disciplinary action
  • Managing day-to-day operations of various divisional enterprise-wide licensing & permitting activities specifically as it relates to application and license renewal submission acceptance, review & approval workflow, license/permit issuance, productivity as well as fiscal monitoring and reporting
  • Coordinating with stakeholders in real estate, construction, regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs, and legal departments as necessary to obtain and maintain all required licenses and permits
  • Ensuring timely processing and payment of all license and permit renewals for all facilities across the enterprise
  • Age 21 or over (Required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-6 years of full time paid management or administrative experience is required
  • Prior demonstrated experience working with the public, with other personnel and staff members of outside agencies is essential
  • Understanding of state and local cannabis licensing requirements is a plus
  • Are self-motivated; micro-managing isn’t fun for anyone
  • Roll your sleeves up and do the work; strategy is important, but so is getting stuff done
  • Can work fast and be flexible; our industry is always changing
