Ch-ch-ch-changes! Deadline says that Meghan Markle is expected to leave Suits at the end of season seven. Her departure has long been rumored in the British tabloids, but Deadline, a Hollywood trade website, is the first, well, non-celebrity-gossip–focused publication to report the news.
Deadline also says that Markle’s costar, Patrick J. Adams, is considering an exit as well. Adams’s character and Markle’s are engaged in the show and (light spoiler alert, look away!) rumored to have their wedding in the upcoming season seven, so a joint goodbye narratively makes sense.
But enough with this straight-business stuff. What does it mean for Harry and Meghan? Well, for one, her moving to London seems a lot more likely—if she’s done with Suits, like Deadline says, and her IMDB page shows no upcoming projects, surely she must have something on the horizon. And that something is, quite possibly, exactly what the tabloids suggested all along: a relocation to London (and maybe the English countryside, too), where she can focus on her relationship with Prince Harry and, more importantly, focus on her charity work.
