DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Scott Moss didn’t allow a hit in five innings, leading the Daytona Tortugas over the Florida Fire Frogs in a 6-3 win on Monday.

Moss (2-1) picked up the win after he struck out three and walked two while allowing one run.

Daytona took the lead in the first when Ibandel Isabel hit a three-run home run.

Trailing 5-2, the Fire Frogs cut into the deficit in the eighth inning when Jordan Rodgers got hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, scoring Anfernee Seymour.

The Tortugas tacked on another run in the eighth when Daniel Sweet hit an RBI double, driving in Taylor Trammell.

Tucker Davidson (0-3) went four innings, allowing five runs and four hits in the Florida State League game. He also struck out one and walked five. Jesse Stallings retired the side in order for his third save of the season.

Florida missed an additional scoring opportunity in the eighth, when Alejandro Salazar grounded out with the bases loaded to end the inning.

Daytona improved to 4-1 against Florida this season.
