Nebraska basketball hosting transfer guard this week by Oliver VanDervoort

Among the visitors that took in the spring game for Nebraska football on Saturday was offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort who loved what he saw.

The Nebraska football team had a ton of visitors for this weekend’s Spring Game. Among those visitors was former Florida Gator offensive lineman Kadeem Telfort.

Talking to Rivals after the game, the current Garden City Community College player said he loved what he saw in Nebraska. The only thing that is apparently keeping him from being a Husker is a bit of a question mark in his past.

Telfort started his college football career with the Florida Gators. He was released from his scholarship and withdrew after he and a few teammates got into legal trouble that had to do with a credit card scam.

With GCCC, the offensive lineman who was once one of the top linemen in his freshman class thinks he has a fresh start. Unfortunately, there appears to still be some questions about what is going to happen with those legal issues.

Telfort told HuskersOnline that he would commit to the Cornhuskers right now, but the team still hasn’t offered him a scholarship. He hopes that offer is still coming down the pike.

It’s clear that his raw talent would get him a scholarship offer yesterday. Of course, if it was just about his talent, he’d still be at Florida.
