Opening Planned For 4th St. Pete Medical Marijuana Dispensary – Patch.com
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Liberty Health Sciences, a grower and distributor of pharmaceutical marijuana, will host a grand opening for its St. Petersburg Cannabis Education at 513 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. Thursday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m.
According to a press release distributed by Toronto-based Liberty Health Sciences, the new center offers patients “access to high-quality, clean and safe pharmaceutical-grade cannabis” along with tools, resources and one-on-one consultations geared to educating patients on using cannabis to treat symptoms.
In addition to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, Louis Swartz, the Cannabis Education Center’s general manager, will talk about the center’s services and there will be various educational workshop including a demonstration by Chef Joseph Galliano on how to cook with Liberty’s cannabis oils.
The St. Petersburg center is Liberty’s second education center in Florida.

Liberty opened its first education center in January at The Villages in Sumter County. The company has received approval from the Florida Department of Health to open four other Florida facilities including one in South Tampa, 4306 S. Dale Mabry Highway, scheduled to open at the end of this month. The other three will be located in Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and Port St. Lucie.
