TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Alexander Palma homered and singled twice, scoring two runs as the Tampa Yankees beat the Florida Fire Frogs 6-4 on Sunday.

Jeff Hendrix doubled and singled, also stealing a base for Tampa.

Down 2-1, the Yankees took the lead for good with five runs in the seventh inning. Angel Aguilar and Hendrix hit RBI singles en route to the four-run lead.

The Fire Frogs saw their comeback attempt come up short after Alex Jackson hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning to cut the Tampa lead to 6-4.

Starter Ian Clarkin (4-4) got the win while Josh Graham (1-3) took the loss in relief in the Florida State League game.

Alay Lago singled three times for the Fire Frogs.

With the win, Tampa remains undefeated (9-0) against Florida this season.
