The business is a “blue-collar” manufacturing-based operation-oriented work place and the ideal candidate will have experience working in a like or similar environment.
Position: Machine Operator
Safety, Quality and KPIs associated with machine operation.
Set-up and Operation of PLC machines. Maintaining quality standards, temperature settings, cycle times and any other critical settings. Performing in Fast-paced production environment with expectations of meeting daily target goals and KPIs.
- Performing all activities in compliance with company safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform all daily activities in compliance with company SOPs.
- Accurately record data and other information onto documents.
- Ensure a very high level of accuracy is maintained in all counts of units and weights.
- Provide support to other areas as needed.
- Clean and maintain machine and area on a regular basis.
- Follow all cGMP and DOH regulations
- Complete Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Read, write, and speak the English language fluently and to follow written and verbal direction.
Understand and follow standard operating procedures.
Basic mathematic skills are required.
Must be able to work closely with and in-cooperation with supervisors and peers.
Productivity and Time Management Skills
Knowledgeable in PLC
Manufacturing Methods and Procedures
Ability to Lift/Carry up to 40 lbs on a Daily Basis
Must be able to handle organic plant material or derived oils daily
Complete a specific job related test at interview
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days will vary. The guidelines are:
3rd shift 11pm-730am, 30 min lunch, work week starts Sunday night through Friday Morning
1st shift 7am-330pm, 30 min lunch, work week is Monday through Friday
2nd shift 3pm-1130pm, 30 min lunch, work week is Monday through Friday
ALL HOURS AND DAYS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE depending on business needs.
Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
For internal candidates, no issues with tardiness, absenteeism or other behavioral issues.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
