Private Pay Billing Specialist

John Knox Village is seeking a self-motivated and organized Billing Specialist to oversee resident invoices, health insurance claims and accounts receivable. This is an important position for the right individual to help maintain a financially stable accounting department.

This dynamic position involves a variety of key areas; including responsibility for planning, implementing and organizing resident invoices, outstanding health insurance statements and accounts receivable. You will work with residents and staff members collecting payments and reviewing resident accounts on a daily to monthly basis.

We want to speak with individuals who have an associate’s degree in a related field (healthcare administration, accounting or business administration) and 2+ years’ experience in billing and collections/ Insurance. Prior experience in assisted living, skilled nursing or home health billing a plus!
