Program and Event Manager
John Knox Village is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Full- Time Program and Events Manager to produce, implement and manage nearly 400 performance events every month for our Residents. This is an exciting opportunity to provide culture, lifestyle and entertainment opportunities that enhance the lives of the residents at John Knox Village.
This dynamic position involves a variety of support in key areas. You will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of cultural events such as theater, jazz, musicals, dance and other cultural enrichment. As the Program Manager, you will organize how these events will be carried out by coordinating and developing the operation of the shows, such as- lights, sound, backstage and ushering. You will provide support for your event and program staff as well as Manage and ensure the accurate and timely set ups for all events.
We want to speak with individuals who have 4+ years’ experience in production along with event design and decor. Additionally, 4+ years’ experience in producing cultural events (theater, musicals, and plays) preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Well-developed skills in general management, organization and strategic planning will be vital to this position.
