Duties and Responsibilities
A propagation planner advises the propagation department on operations required to maintain the efficacy of a production pipeline by using a mixture of data tracking and data analytics. The propagation planner also serves as a primary point of contact for the propagation department for any questions regarding manufacturing logistics. Strong technological, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits.
Primary Job Functions:
Will be completing manual data entry on established spreadsheets and product inventories
Planning and monitoring week to week production operations for the propagation department
Variance analysis to report on trends of inefficiency in propagation department
Maintaining shared projections and forecasts on a weekly basis
Create weekly manufacturing schedules that instruct personnel on required operations to maintain efficacy of manufacturing pipeline
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft office and other organizational tools
Basic understanding of commercial cultivation practices
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5 P.M., with occasional weekend work required.
Florida Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Pay is commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40-45 hours per week, with required weekend or “after hours” availability if an emergency situation should arise.
