The Regional Vice President of Retail Southeast Region leads dispensaries in multiple locations. This role will be based out of FL, and is responsible for profitably, growing dispensary revenue, increasing Curaleaf’s profile in the marketplace by working with each dispensary management team in driving branding, marketing, and product programs, while developing measurable & repeatable dispensary objectives.

  • Maximizes retail productivity of their region, sales, and profit, by working with the dispensary management team to implement the appropriate plan(s), ultimately responsible for ensuring targets are met
  • Provides strategic leadership to multiple dispensaries, with a strong understanding of the market and patient needs, as well as anticipating future needs
  • Responsible for managing all cross-dispensary operations aspects, including vendors & affiliate programs
  • Work closely with cultivation and manufacturing to ensure proper inventory planning and product availability
  • Coordinates cross-dispensary community/patient/physician/ governmental outreach, and makes available appropriate resources & material as needed
  • Understands and remains current on market demand for product offerings, by performing competitive analysis on other RMDs and gathering patient feedback on product needs
  • Continuously improves operational performance in the business while considering consistency in operational processes, and the needs of the organization
  • Drives and influences productivity and cost-saving opportunities in all cross-dispensary functional components
  • Maintains a presence in the field to effectively coach and support dispensary teams
  • Ensures operational priorities, processes, and procedures are communicated, understood, and executed consistently across all locations
  • Provides financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with support from local and corporate finance teams


  • 5-7 years’ experience in retail store management, operations, and leadership in a high-volume retail environment, **Multi-site required
  • Strong personnel management and retail operations knowledge, including
    inventory control, loss prevention, retail POS systems, merchandising, customer
    service and budget preparation
  • Demonstrated track record in driving revenue and increasing store productivity
  • A credible, visible leader who could establish instant credibility and inspire the teams
  • Strong strategic skills with financial planning and operational savvy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional people and organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to gain consensus through collaboration and open dialogue
  • A sense of urgency, high energy, and hands-on approach
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Occasional long hours with travel throughout the region
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

30-Day Deliverables

  • Ensure our financial goals are achieved while providing daily targets and reporting against the month over month/year over year numbers to see how we are tracking
  • Gain a solid understanding of the makeup of Curaleaf’s existing patients, their shopping habits, location by geography, and what is causing the large fluctuation in financials
  • Start to provide a daily summary (2-3 quick bullets) for any day that is 25% above or below the 4-week average sales of that same day of the week
  • Develop patient metrics, to be produced starting the month following hire, on the following:
    • First time vs. repeat patients
    • Frequency of visits
    • Purchase habits/amounts
  • Develop 3 new ideas per metric noted above for how to bring in new patients, have existing patients come in more frequently, decrease the one-and-done patients, increase total patient spend
  • Visit other regions and dispensaries for ideas and a better sense of what works and what doesn’t
  • Provide a written report of each visit with key takeaways to be shared with dispensary managers
  • Develop reporting structure, working within region, to report on the success of each promotion follow up with marketing
  • Review weekly dispensary dashboard, showing both dispensary specific and aggregate numbers, to be shared with management team leadership
