The business is a “blue-collar” manufacturing oriented work place and the ideal candidate will need to have experience working in a like or similar environment.

The Security Technology Specialist is a role that requires a hands-on approach to assist in shaping the culture of Trulieve. He/she will be responsible for assisting the IT and Security team in managing the day-to-day technology related security needs of our large cannabis cultivation facilities, production facilities, and dispensaries. He/She reports to and works directly with the IT Manager and Network Administrator. This position is based out of our Tallahassee Location.

Major Responsibilities:

Manage the monitoring and maintenance needs for all cameras and access control devices

Work with contractors to ensure 100% uptime

Manage user and permission requests for all systems nation wide

Visit region locations and assess and design needs for each location

Manage all state mandated retention schedules nation wide

Manage all access control systems

Work with Security to ensure proper communication

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Provide innovative solutions to uncommon problems

Assist with daily helpdesk assignments

Additional Responsibilities:

Responsible for responding to technical needs 24/7

Minor Cabling and termination of cables

Minor repair of readers/cameras where feasible

Travel to different locations nationwide, up to 35%

Any other tasks as assigned by the IT manager

Requirements:

Must have a passion for customer service and problem solving

Minimum 5 years of alarm/access control/ CCTV systems

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required, IT focus preferred

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Effective time- management and ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment

Must have extensive of Wiegand Interface experience

Ability to travel up to 35% of the time nationwide

Individually motivated that does not need to be micromanaged

Ability to make educated decisions quickly

Desire to find innovative solutions to difficult problems

Must be flexible

Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening

Must be at least 21 years old

A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 45 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise. Salary range is $41,000 – $53,999 per year depending on qualifications.
