Parallel’s Senior IT Auditor will assist the Director of Internal Audit in the planning and execution of individual audits across the Company’s lines of business to ensure controls are in place to avoid losses and meet regulatory requirements. The Senior IT Auditor will perform testing of the system of internal controls, test compliance with established policies and procedures and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

  • Examine general IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and management’s remediation strategies
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s business and systems processes
  • Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures
  • Communicate complex technical issues in simplified terms to the relevant staff
  • Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations
  • Review, evaluate and test application controls
  • Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks
  • Draft or review audit reports and conduct exit conferences with management to discuss findings and management’s response
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Degree in Information Technology/Computer Information Systems or related field
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience as an IT Auditor
  • Financial and IT application experience
  • Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Great awareness of cyber security trends and hacking techniques
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software
  • Prior experience with AuditBoard/Soxhub is a plus
  • Ability to adapt in a high growth, rapidly evolving industry

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
