Stone, Okauru to Transfer from Florida

Stone averaged 6.2 points in 85 career appearances for the Gators, while Okauru averaged 2.6 points in 69 games.

Forward Keith Stone will transfer from the University of Florida following his anticipated graduation from UF.
“Keith has been a part of three NCAA Tournament teams and a lot of wins,” head coach Mike White said. “He has represented the Florida program the right way, and we wish him nothing but the best.”
Stone appeared in 85 games at Florida with 39 starts, averaging 6.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game with a .394 3-point field goal percentage. Stone suffered a torn ACL on Jan. 19 during the Gators’ win at Georgia, limiting his final season at UF to 17 games.
The Deerfield Beach, Fla., native came to Florida in 2015 and took a redshirt his first season. As a redshirt sophomore in 2017-18, Stone averaged 8.8 points per game and started 26 times in 34 appearances.

Update: Sophomore guard Mike Okauru has also announced his intention to transfer from Florida following two seasons with the Gators. Okauru appeared in 69 games at Florida, averaging 2.6 points per game.
