Just registered and received my medical M card yesterday, and Sunnyside was highly recommended by the office where I registered, and was given 2 coupons/discounts so decided to visit. Very glad we did because their staff were all so amazing, welcoming, and gracious for putting up with someone like me who had a thousand questions and is completely ignorant to all of the products lol. I definitely took advantage of the coupons I was given and bought a nice selection of stuff. The place is immaculately clean, spacious enough to comfortably peruse at your leisure, and again, can’t stress enough how knowledgable, attentive, and friendly all 3 staff members we interacted with were. Definitely made for a pleasant first visit to a dispensary! We will definitely be back once my sample selection purchase starts to run low. 🙂

Before this dispensary could open, it was licensed by the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU). In the state of Florida, dispensaries are officially referred to as medical marijuana treatment centers (MMTCs).
Sunnyside is vertically integrated, as are the rest of the MMTC’s. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Sunnyside grows their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvests, processes into a variety of products, packages and distributes within their own network.
Product types and availability can vary from store menu to store menu, depending on demand. If Sunnyside in Lutz does not have what you are looking for, there is no legal obligation to stick to a single brand. Your medical marijuana card is universally accepted at any dispensary in Florida.
Purchasing Marijuana Products at Sunnyside
During your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders will make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
