I went in to stock up for the holidays and boy do I regret driving an hour plus to spend $400 on deals. My bud was shorted a gram on one of the 8ths I bought. I probably got shorted with my other 8ths too but they’re wrapped in Christmas gifts. I called and was told no one else had this experience and there was nothing they could do to compensate me. Avoid this place like the plague if you’re looking for flower, someone’s stealing nugs somewhere in the process of producing.

There was one budtender that randomly approached us, almost trying to “upsell” us to buy more product. They were talking about product we did not need while we were browsing. Guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful but once taken to the back I felt like I was bothering the dude who I had to interrupt from Instagram or whatever was so important on his phone. This dispensary, officially referred to by the state as a medical marijuana treatment centers, or MMTC for short is licensed by the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).
Sunnyside is vertically integrated, as are all of the Florida cannabis brands. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Sunnyside dispensary products are grown from their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvested, and processed into a variety of products. Then packages and distributed within their own network.
Product types, different strains and availability can vary from store menu to store menu, depending on demand. If Sunnyside in Tampa does not have what you are looking for, your Florida MedCard is universally accepted at any dispensary in the state.
Purchasing Marijuana Products at Sunnyside
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders may make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
If it’s your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.
What Marijuana Products are Available at Sunnyside
The best way to see the different product options before visiting the dispensary is to check out their online menu. If enabled, Sunnyside in Tampa online menu may be available on FL Dispensaries to reserve your order.
If you have an active medical card, you can pick from a wide array of cannabis products. Various delivery methods of the different cannabinoids have been approved by the DOH, including edibles, inhalation, oral, sublingual, topical, traditional flower and even suppositories. There is no obligation to buy your entire milligram limit at once; instead, you can purchase less if you so desire and then buy more during another visit or at another dispensary. It’s important to find what works for you.
Low tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) cannabis with higher CBD products are available to patients as well who prefer the non-euphoric effect.

Jenn, Zack, and Eric were AWESOME! They were extremely knowledgable about the product, helped us pick the best concentrate for our needs, and were quick + efficient with the checkout process. There was one budtender that randomly approached us, almost trying to “upsell” us to buy more product. They were talking about product we did not need while we were browsing. We weren’t even purchasing the item he was trying to advertise. It seemed a bit off-putting as medical patients. Other than that, the experience was great! Thank you Sunnyside Dale Mabry!

Frequent sunnyside but this was my first visit to this location. Everyone was so welcoming! Zach really had me in and out in under 5 minutes. Answered my questions, helped me pick my items quickly and sent me on my way! A great experience.

First time here and I love the place. I like how it is open inside lots of room and they don’t make you feel like your still sneaking into your friends room to get pot. Zach helped me he was incredibly knowledgeable about the product. If you get a chance I would definitely shop here.

Awesome dispensary with good quality products! Very comparable to the medical items I was buying when I lived in Colorado. Definitely recommend going here if you have your medical card! Friendly and helpful staff who were so kind and understanding! I’m definitely coming up!

First time walking in Sunnyside. Nice and clean space. Didn't get the ladys name at the front desk but she was very nice. Shelby and Anthony were very professional and knowledgeable about the products. The flower they have is second to none, very good quality. Will be coming back.

Terrible customer service. Guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful but once taken to the back I felt like I was bothering the dude who I had to interrupt from Instagram or whatever was so important on his phone. He then took my card and didn’t say anything for a few minutes until I asked for it back to leave. Maybe your products are awesome, but I guess I won’t know.
