I’ve stopped in here on and off for the last two years, and have to say it is the best dispensary in the Keys. While the places on Duval street tend to feel very touristy, it is clear that Surterra is the locals choice. This is for many reasons- convenient location, great prices, awesome products, but most importantly of all: Every single staff member is CONSISTENTLY kind, patient and eager to provide great service. The amazing staff here makes going to the dispensary a fun and personalized experience. They recognize me and remember my favorite products.

I generally do not buy flower from Surterra but I didn't feel like driving downtown for an eighth and ran in and got one jar of Apples, Bananas Jealousy got home and when I uncovered the jar the foil seal was open and you could tell it was light by looking. On a very accurate digital scale it was 2.6, basically a full gram short. Today March 18th I am alerted to a half off sale and they finally had PBnSmelly half price and I have been told it was fantastic, the flower itself is very good, sticky, smelly and smooth. I bought 2 eighths and both were very short. One was 2.4 and one was 2.5!!! That's 2.1 grams short, I've been told they do not do returns of any sort in the past, it's just wrong and not an isolated incidence. One thing a dispensary is supposed to from sham , bogus dealers, I would be better off elsewhere, like the old fashioned way.

This place REEKS of pot every time I have been in there and the employees are obviously high. This is the 2nd time this year they have not filled my online order because they said I needed a recertification on my card by 2 days. Why didn't they text or email me to tell me this before I drove 20 miles to get there? I'm curious if they all have valid medical cards .

I showed up in my PJ's the other day making a ruckus because they wouldn't give me my order without a photo ID. I suppose I have been spoiled at the other dispensaries grr... but also cant get the state of Tennessee to clear a paid ticket from the NDR therefore - I cannot get a new hard copy of my license even though my FL license is valid.Anyway for the sake of weed I go to the DMV and get a photo ID and everything else goes great. They give a wonderful discount to first time orders that is very generous! The things that they have are fairly standard - nothing unique but if you like edibles like me, definitely try the strawberry lemonade hybrid gummies for a nice relaxing warm hug as you go to sleep.I have to have edibles for sleep!!!...No weed?! Ill stay up for three days even if I eat Benadryl or Tylenol PM like candy. I struggle as a schizophrenic insomniac who's ADHD becomes distracted by the voices. LOL.Sooo, as such - having things on the table that induce less paranoia are a must for me. The 'dream' tincture was new and its a CBD/THC mix, you need quite a few drops I would say at least 25-30 with half a gummy and a cold one - goodnight, sweet dreams. I have found that the CBD/THC hybrids are wonderful for a reduction in paranoia that can happen with just straight THC edibles.I do not use any of the smoke, resin or vape products as I have never been a weed person; but became an edible lover when I realized how much they helped me fall asleep. They have a lot of options in the smokey smoke arena. Not a whole lot of options for the edible realm that I love so much but I can forgive it because what they do have works very well and most of the other dispensaries in the area also only have one brand (..and its the same brand!!) . I know literally nothing about mmj except I can only take when I sleep. I was asking questions and person helping me, was looking at me like I was crazy. Eyes matter. If a person know nothing, explain it to them. She seemed new. But, not helpful. Products I have tried are good, customer service with this one particular person, needs to improve! Let me add I only use one hit or a few drops before I close my eyes. You non sleepers out there should TRY this. This had made a massive difference in quality deep sleep. Pain does not wake me, instead when I wake up I have pain (if that makes sense). Quality sleep is essential towards quality of life. I usually go about once every 9 months. I had tried using this when it first came available with terrible results. I cannot stand being high or mind altered. Giving up on it for a few years, researching it some more and taking right before I go to sleep, has made a BIG difference. The employees should be kind, caring and compassionate and understand not everyone uses this stuff and has the knowledge about it that you have. Be patient and share your knowledge.

Karli at the Key West store is absolutely amazing. She definitely goes above and beyond in her role. There is always something on sale, and they are good sales too, not 2% off one item for a three hour window with a promo code. If anyone rude works at their Key West location, they must hide them in the back. 10/10 staff, and I have never waited more than 5 minutes, due to how they process customers.I had my first return experience there today, Carolina made it seamless and quick. Nothing like finding a cart has leaked in transit, and feeling dread at the idea of asking for help with it.. no need to fear.

As a local, this is the only dispensary I go to down here. Not only is every employee the sweetest & extremely knowledgeable about every product, but this dispensary really has just the right amount of everything. Orders never take longer than 5 minutes when you go inside which I know at other places down here you can be waiting an hour plus. Bought The product blue dream ground assuming it had little too no clippings but no it’s a scam they are selling grounded clippings with maybe a gram of actually weed in the quarter. Not happy with what they think is quality.. I used to grow so i definitely know the difference , it’s clippings and steams grounded, you don’t even smell the weed all you smell is clippings.....save your time and just go to WUV

Unfortunately, you have to go through a corporate headquarters who then dispatches your questions or needs to the branch personnel. I thought that was a little strange. On my 1st visit (Key West location) the Float pre-ground I purchased (Jacky Girl) had some large stems but was otherwise satisfactory. On my 2nd visit I bought 2 different strains of pre-ground flower (Blue Dream Haze & Cakez). BOTH were mostly LEAF & STEM! I called to find out why there was trim in what is supposed to be ground FLOWER & the rep advised they do not use trim in their ground flower. Well I can see with my own eyes that is not true. A stem is a stem and because the product is not finely ground the leaves are visible. Something is clearly wrong if they state no trim yet it’s mostly trim.The rep advised “all sales are final” & said the only possible remedy would be for me to return to the same store I purchased from to see if they are “willing to exchange”. I live in Ft. Lauderdale so that’s not very convenient when there are other locations closer to me. I’ll have to wait until my next trip to the Keys to find out if they will be WILLING to exchange them! Maybe!? Companies that do not make an effort to resolve your problem are undeserving of your business. I don’t like to leave bad reviews so I always go back to the company first to give them a chance to right the wrong. The rep was not very helpful and repeated the same spiel saying they don’t use trim. It was only after I insisted several times that something is wrong (as there is trim in the product) that he agreed to log a complaint on my profile which the Key West store can see on their end when I return to TRY to exchange. No bueno.

I went inside and handed my card over to the lady at the front as usual. The other lady was asking me what I want and very helpful.Apparently there was an issue with my card and I wasn’t able to purchase anything even though my card expires in 5 months.The friendly lady all of sudden threw the card back at me and said I need to call my doctor. Without any other explanation and acted as if I wasn’t even there and started talking with the next guest.I’m new at this like many others and would have appreciated an answer or two to my questions about the situation. As soon as I wasn’t a customer I became a nobody.I went to Trulieve and they helped me out.

Surterra is vertically integrated, as are all of the Florida cannabis brands. Being vertically integrated means they oversee the entire process from seed to sale. Surterra dispensary products are grown from their own cannabis plants from seed or cuttings, harvested, and processed into a variety of products. Purchasing Marijuana Products at Surterra
Upon arrival at this dispensary, you’ll enter a designated waiting area before going into the retail area with staff. The dispensary staff work with you to explain all of the cannabis products available. Budtenders may make recommendations that are based on your doctor’s recommendation.
If it’s your first visit, you’ll be required to complete intake forms. This lets the dispensary staff confirm your patient status and see what you were allotted by your medical marijuana doctor.

If you have an active medical card, you can pick from a wide array of cannabis products. I showed up in my PJ's the other day making a ruckus because they wouldn't give me my order without a photo ID. I suppose I have been spoiled at the other dispensaries grr... but also cant get the state of Tennessee to clear a paid ticket from the NDR therefore - I cannot get a new hard copy of my license even though my FL license is valid.Anyway for the sake of weed I go to the DMV and get a photo ID and everything else goes great. They give a wonderful discount to first time orders that is very generous! The things that they have are fairly standard - nothing unique but if you like edibles like me, definitely try the strawberry lemonade hybrid gummies for a nice relaxing warm hug as you go to sleep.I have to have edibles for sleep!!!...No weed?! Ill stay up for three days even if I eat Benadryl or Tylenol PM like candy. I struggle as a schizophrenic insomniac who's ADHD becomes distracted by the voices. LOL.Sooo, as such - having things on the table that induce less paranoia are a must for me. The 'dream' tincture was new and its a CBD/THC mix, you need quite a few drops I would say at least 25-30 with half a gummy and a cold one - goodnight, sweet dreams. I have found that the CBD/THC hybrids are wonderful for a reduction in paranoia that can happen with just straight THC edibles.I do not use any of the smoke, resin or vape products as I have never been a weed person; but became an edible lover when I realized how much they helped me fall asleep. They have a lot of options in the smokey smoke arena. Not a whole lot of options for the edible realm that I love so much but I can forgive it because what they do have works very well and most of the other dispensaries in the area also only have one brand (..and its the same brand!!) . I know literally nothing about mmj except I can only take when I sleep. I was asking questions and person helping me, was looking at me like I was crazy. Eyes matter. If a person know nothing, explain it to them. She seemed new. But, not helpful. Products I have tried are good, customer service with this one particular person, needs to improve! Let me add I only use one hit or a few drops before I close my eyes. You non sleepers out there should TRY this. This had made a massive difference in quality deep sleep. Pain does not wake me, instead when I wake up I have pain (if that makes sense). Quality sleep is essential towards quality of life. I usually go about once every 9 months. I had tried using this when it first came available with terrible results. I cannot stand being high or mind altered. Giving up on it for a few years, researching it some more and taking right before I go to sleep, has made a BIG difference. The employees should be kind, caring and compassionate and understand not everyone uses this stuff and has the knowledge about it that you have. Be patient and share your knowledge.

If anyone rude works at their Key West location, they must hide them in the back. 10/10 staff, and I have never waited more than 5 minutes, due to how they process customers.I had my first return experience there today, Carolina made it seamless and quick. Bought The product blue dream ground assuming it had little too no clippings but no it’s a scam they are selling grounded clippings with maybe a gram of actually weed in the quarter. Not happy with what they think is quality.. I used to grow so i definitely know the difference , it’s clippings and steams grounded, you don’t even smell the weed all you smell is clippings.....save your time and just go to WUV

Unfortunately, you have to go through a corporate headquarters who then dispatches your questions or needs to the branch personnel. I thought that was a little strange. But that's a small thing, and i dont sweat the small things.Overall i give Surterra Wellness a 10 out of 10 star review. On my 1st visit (Key West location) the Float pre-ground I purchased (Jacky Girl) had some large stems but was otherwise satisfactory. On my 2nd visit I bought 2 different strains of pre-ground flower (Blue Dream Haze & Cakez). BOTH were mostly LEAF & STEM! I called to find out why there was trim in what is supposed to be ground FLOWER & the rep advised they do not use trim in their ground flower. Well I can see with my own eyes that is not true. A stem is a stem and because the product is not finely ground the leaves are visible. Something is clearly wrong if they state no trim yet it’s mostly trim.The rep advised “all sales are final” & said the only possible remedy would be for me to return to the same store I purchased from to see if they are “willing to exchange”. I live in Ft. Lauderdale so that’s not very convenient when there are other locations closer to me. I’ll have to wait until my next trip to the Keys to find out if they will be WILLING to exchange them! Maybe!? Companies that do not make an effort to resolve your problem are undeserving of your business. I don’t like to leave bad reviews so I always go back to the company first to give them a chance to right the wrong. The rep was not very helpful and repeated the same spiel saying they don’t use trim. It was only after I insisted several times that something is wrong (as there is trim in the product) that he agreed to log a complaint on my profile which the Key West store can see on their end when I return to TRY to exchange. No bueno.

I went inside and handed my card over to the lady at the front as usual. The other lady was asking me what I want and very helpful.Apparently there was an issue with my card and I wasn’t able to purchase anything even though my card expires in 5 months.The friendly lady all of sudden threw the card back at me and said I need to call my doctor. Without any other explanation and acted as if I wasn’t even there and started talking with the next guest.I’m new at this like many others and would have appreciated an answer or two to my questions about the situation. As soon as I wasn’t a customer I became a nobody.I went to Trulieve and they helped me out.
