Tennessee football recruiting received another Florida commitment as 2018 three-star athlete Tanner Ingle chose the Volunteers.

Tennessee football is back up to 13 commitments for its 2018 recruiting class as the Vols picked up another commitment Monday night.

Three-star athlete Tanner Ingle announced his commitment to Butch Jones and the Tennessee football program on Twitter.

At 5’10” 185 pounds, Ingle comes out of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla. Despite his listing as an athlete on Rivals, GoVols247 considers him a cornerback.

Ingle’s commitment continues the Florida pipeline that Jones and his staff have been building with all the new assistant coaches that have connections to the area, most notably Larry Scott as he enters his second year with the staff and his first as offensive coordinator.

That’s the third commitment to the school from Florida for 2018, second only to Tennessee in terms of states where most of the Tennessee football commitments are from for this class so far.

Ingle also joins Brandon Cross to make for two commitments out of Orlando, and both could end up being cornerbacks.

Here is a look at Ingle’s highlights.

As you can see, he is very athletic but also doesn’t shy away from hitting players. That could make him a safety at the next level as well as a cornerback.

Overall, his skills show that he could end up becoming very valuable player for the Vols despite the fact that he has no national, position, or state ranking.
