In a partnership that epitomizes synergy, Curealeaf, a top cannabis company, has teamed up with iconic music and pop culture brand Rolling Stone, to create a new cannabis brand. Known as Rolling Stone by Select (Select for short), the line will feature two product formats that include a pre-roll and “The Cliq,” defined in the news announcement as a “proprietary pod system.” The formats will include a number of strains and flavors such as a berry-forward “overdrive” sativa and a fruity “phaser” hybrid.
Rolling Stone by Select products will initially be sold in Nevada starting on June 11, 2021. They will be distributed through Select’s wholesale partners and Curealeaf dispensaries. Plans are afoot to expand distribution in the future, according to a spokesperson.
The partnership will also culminate in the creation of a retail space opening in Las Vegas in 2022. To get further details about this mysterious venture, consumers will have to wait as “more details…will be released in the near future.”
